Mrs. Wilson's Class
SPRING HAS SPRUNG! Nursery dove right in to the new season with our study of ladybugs on Eric Carle Day! The Grouchy Ladybug taught us not only that ladybugs like to eat aphids but also bugs can learn how to share too. We even got to create our own ladybug cupcakes! We can't believe the changes in the weather. We made our own rainbows in celebration of finishing our color study, but also because the Spring weather brings rain and if we're lucky...rainbows! We're keeping our eye out for them!
We're making our way through the letters and their sounds. We're already up to letter Q. Can you make the Q sound? Don't forget about our numbers! We are very interesting in counting all objects as we learn our weekly numbers.
Last week was our official classroom start of Spring. In Nursery tradition, we celebrated the start of the baseball season by learning about what it means to be on a team, use equipment to get a task done, and have fun all at the same time. The weather was even nice enough to allow us to go outside to play baseball! Thanks to the big kids for all the help!
We can't wait to see what the rest of Spring will bring!
